Plain language: what we collect through this website, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.
Who we are
Pixel Technologies is a software engineering firm based in Nairobi, Kenya. We are responsible for the personal data described here, in line with the Kenya Data Protection Act 2019.
What we collect
- Contact form: your name, organisation, email address, phone number if you give it, and your message.
- Booking a meeting: the name, email address and answers you enter when you book through Cal.com.
- Calls, WhatsApp and email: whatever you choose to send us.
This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not run analytics that identify you.
Why we use it
Only to reply to your enquiry, arrange and hold the meeting you asked for, and prepare a proposal if you want one. We never sell your data or use it for unrelated marketing.
Who processes it for us
- Resend delivers contact-form messages to our inbox.
- Cal.com runs our booking calendar.
- Our hosting provider serves this website and may keep short-lived technical logs (such as IP addresses) for security.
Some of these providers store data outside Kenya, under their own data protection safeguards.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become projects are deleted within 12 months. If we work together, we keep project correspondence for as long as the contract and the law require.
Your rights
You can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted, and you can object to how we use it. Email hello@pixeltechnologies.co.ke and we will reply within a working day and act on your request within the time limits the law sets. You can also complain to the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update this page.
