The problem
Customers ask questions at all hours, and most businesses can only answer during the working day. Questions go unanswered, enquiries go cold, and the leads that do come in are scattered across WhatsApp chats and website forms.
What we built
An AI assistant that answers on a business's website and on WhatsApp, using the business's own information. It is a full multi-tenant platform, sold to businesses on monthly plans.
Answers from the business's own information
- Knowledge base from documents and web pages, with search over it
- Data tables (rooms, packages, order status) and calls to the business's own systems, set up without code
- WhatsApp through Meta's official Cloud API
Nothing slips through
- Captures leads (name and number) and emails the owner
- Logs questions it could not answer, so the owner can teach it once
- Staff can take over any conversation from a shared inbox and hand it back
Run as a business
- Monthly plans in shillings, free trials, automatic invoicing, M-Pesa and card payments
- Switches between AI providers (Gemini, Claude, OpenAI and others) without a restart
- Tracks AI cost per business and per model
Secure by default
- Two-factor sign-in, recovery codes and an audit log for administrators
- The website widget is isolated so it cannot break, or be broken by, the host site
How it holds up
BizSmart handles more than 100 conversations at the same time, across websites and WhatsApp, while metering usage and enforcing each plan's limits.
